After British weaver Robert Elsden invented a way to reproduce the quilted look on a loom, it became widely popular for petticoats, waistcoats, and coverlets by the 1760s...Then came the invention of the Jacquard loom which produced intricate, heavy textures.  We hope you love our little collection.
