In 2020 Julia moved to Florence, Italy to begin a new chapter in her life as a designer. She opened a beautiful atelier in the heart of Florence to work amongst the ultra-talented Italian artisans with whom she had worked remotely for many years. From these numerous collaborations of kindred spirits where design, form, and materials are all interconnected, she launched her interior design practice as a logical and irresistible extension of her globally acclaimed product business. Since then, without skipping a beat, she has overseen major projects, in Florence, the Tuscan countryside and in neighboring Umbria.
With Florence and its glorious Tuscan countryside serving as an international magnet, Julia’s audience has rapidly grown to include a global clientele for numerous interior design projects.
Julia is now particularly excited to announce the opening of Villa Julia - a personal project of extraordinary beauty, indoors and out, situated in the heart of Tuscany’s Val d’Orcia – a UNESCO world Heritage site – where she has transformed an abandoned farm house into a unique residential showcase of her interior design vision as well as her extraordinary line of home furnishings.
